Downloading DJI professional drone

Having trouble downloading DJI professional drone to computer. Have tried USB cord from drone to computer as well as placing card in card reader, it displays View nx2, but no download is performed. Constructive Suggestions please.

Nothing automatically downloads. Once you've put the card in and it's recognized you have to do a copy to initiate the movement of the files. Some software, like Lightroom, can be set to automatically download but you have to set the preferences to do that.

Thanks for you quick reply, yes the app is in both my tablet and phone. Just dawned on me, does this app also have to be in my computer?

No you don't need it on your computer. The only thing you need a computer for is any firmware updates.

Jamers, remember that your DJI Phantom 3 Pro has to be turned on PRIOR to connecting the cable to the port on the drone and the computer. You should have no trouble downloading your pics if that is done FIRST.

Does View NX2 support video? Use Windows Explorer/Apple Finder to browse the card in the drone, find the files and copy them over to your hard drive.
