Dragon flies.

I shot these dragon flies about 3 feet away.
Hand held, using 560mm.

Photo #1: Canon 5Dsr - Canon 100-400 II - Canon 1.4x III - 1/800 - f/14 - ISO @ 1250.

Nice captures!
I believe your image #1 is a male Tule Bluet Damselfly (Enallagma carunculatum), and images #2 & #3 are most likely a male Pacific Forktail Damselfly (Ischnura cervula). http://www.cavette.net/photos/dragonflies.html

Great shots. Sharp. Never knew a tele extender would be that sharp.

This Canon 1.4mm III is remarkable. I always use it. Most other tele extenders are not as sharp.
