I am amused at everybody stating why people shouldn't vote for either Forrest Trump or the Hildabeast. Here is a challenge to both sides, tell me why I should vote for the candidate of your liking. Don't tell me because they aren't their opponent or because of the possibility of whom they would choose for the Supreme Court. Tell me what policies or beliefs they endorse that makes you think they are the best choice for POTUS.

Visit all candidates official web sites. Look up their position papers on the issues they choose to address. Is their list of issues complete in your view. Examine the position papers that address your concerns, interest, and knowledge of. Are they comprehensive enough or thin in your view. Use what you learn to decide your vote. Does this take more time you wish to spend on becoming informed. Then look up the interest groups that suit your fancy - have they distilled executive summaries of the candidates position papers.

Or read the invective on The Attic or Facebook or Twitter or other places.

At the end grade yourself on the 'ill' to 'fully' informed scale. That is what you will take into the voting booth.

Cheers.

Why I like Trump, just to list a few:
1. He supports our troops and wants to let them seek any medical facility if the VA is not responsive.
2. He will close the borders and insure that all immigrants that enter are vetted.
3. He will destroy ISIS.
4. He will bring jobs back to the USA.
5. He exposes the biased liberal media.

We have come to the point this election where we must choose the lesser of two evils. Better the evil you know rather than one you don't know. Narcissists have little interest in any endeavor that does not directly benefit them. Trump is the medical definition of a narcissist. My father was one. Having one in the White House has the potential of causing great harm because a narcissist makes just about every decision based solely on what's best for him/her personally. A narcissist has little to no empathy for others. All decisions are made from a "what's in it for me" mentality. So I will vote for Clinton, realizing that she is far from being the kind of leader we need in these times. But she is far less scary than Trump. I don't want anyone running the country who has such a cavalier attitude toward using weapons of mass destruction and one who has no inkling of how 'the other half' lives. Or should I say, the other two thirds.

Gary Johnson, because he is anybody but Trump or Hillary!

Yeah, I know, that violates the rules of this thread.

There aren't a lot of reasons to vote for him yet...too unknown.

Reason #1 - he does not campaign on insults towards the other candidates...how refreshing.

Reason #2 - both he and his veep are Republican governors, each at least once RE-elected in majority democrat states...maybe they can work with both sides and unjam some of the gridlock.

I'm not on board to vote for him yet, I just hope he makes the debate stage so we can see more of what he is. From what I've seen, he is at least semi-rational, which is unique in this election.

I pretty much agree with you, most politicians don't like him because their afraid he'll throw them off the gravy train they've been riding for decades, like taking the family down to the Caribbean for a month to study global warming on the taxpayers dime.

Hillary because she will continue to:

Continue to work towards reducing the budget deficit.
Pick progressive SCOTUS judges.
Continue to protect the environment.
Stay strong on defence.
Be able to effectively work with foreign leaders.
Push for Single Payer healthcare.
