Just got home from a photoshoot....it's 10:30 in my neck of the woods. I have several hundred pics to batch process in LR and upload at least another 1 hour or more and the skies are CLEAR, yes clear clear clear!
So I did he next best thing, I watched this video that was just sent to me via email. I subscribe to Universe Today, every "Keeper of the Dark, Dark Sky Affectionados, and Upshooters" probably should = Free!

That was a beast of a picture taking machine! Technology is moving so fast, smart phones are taking awesome images in low light now...images that required pro bodies 5 years ago to equal.
But - there is nothing like getting out with friends and those with "up curiosity" for a night of star-gazing and imaging.

I enjoy hearing the kids talking about what they are seeing and its why I like star parties.
Everyone asks questions and everyone with a scope loves to share what they are seeing.
Its the same thing at solar outreaches only we seem to be a brighter bunch.. (Kidding of course)
