I watched a lady in the park put out some food for a stray cat. A minute later when the raccons arrived, the cat fled. I really think the raccoons would have shared the food.

The caption could read something like this:

Hey Fred, fill up. I'll keep watch on the two-legger with the black box stuck to his face.

I, too, was at first encounter with them convinced they had a good heart, meant no harm and were cuddly. Massive destruction in my garage, consumption of all available bird food, the ability to figure out all anti Raccoon stratagems I tried soon convinced me that there is not a cuddly good hearted hair on their bodies.

They are still fun to watch. Great shots!

Great shot. Sometimes bullies win. Raccoons are alert and very intelligent animals. They are best at finding food. If your house is rural, and has a hole big enough for a raccoon to fit through, you might come home and witness one in your house kitchen, eating out of your breakfast cereal box.

A really precious shot even if they are little stinkers!

Lol! They came in through the kitchen window, (screen) to eat the pasta in the sink.

I tried to chase them away but they were gone before I got my baseball bat! Lol!

They are cute. We have multiple "families" that visit us almost every night, and when I was younger, I actually kept one as a house pet. They can also be very clever at gaining access. We had one have a litter of babies in the exhaust vent to our cooktop. When we removed the filter over the stove, half a dozen baby raccoons poured out and all ran in different directions - you can imagine the rest...
