You are less than 17 miles from Weeks Bay Pitcher Plant Bog. October is a grand season for Pitcher Plants, you would greatly regret missing the opportunity to see these unique plants. Last time, several years ago, I was there it was all board walk. Didn't miss the muddy boots afterwards at all.

And Fairhope is a lovely town full of photographs waiting to be snapped. And if you are into buildings/churches, Malbis AL has a absolutely wonderful Greek Orthodox Church.

Endless opportunities. Both Mobile and Pensacola are right close and really will make you glad we don't have to pay for film or processing any more.
