I was so lucky to have spent a week in the Southwest this summer. This was my first trip there, but will NOT be my last. I really loved it there! I went during monsoon season, which made for some really great skies. I wrote a little blog about here:
http://www.alissabethphoto.com/blogBelow are a few of my favorite photos from the trip!
1. Our first Grand Canyon Sunset
2. A rainy sunset with the gorgeous rays spraying through the clouds.
3. Amazing rain clouds in Sedona
4. The Grand Canyon Milkyway
Fantastic photos, alissa. Breathtaking beauty most impressively captured!
Absolutely beautifull set. I love the competing angles of the sun and rain in no. 3 and the milky way shot is fantastic. Very nice work.
Thank you Linda. It was one of the most beautiful places I have ever been too! A photographers paradise!!

Absolutely beautiful Alissa
THank you so much. Funny thing about the sun ray photo that only photographers would appreciate. I shot it the day after I took the milkyway and forgot to reset my camera's ISO. So I shot it at iso 2000!!! Luckily, shooting raw and my camera that handles high ISO easily, I was able to get the minimal noise out.
