This was taken through the window, not the best shot, but gives you an idea for the Canon 60SX, the one of the eagle was taken a long way away across the road and river.

Nice shots. I just purchased the SX60, but have not yet used it much. What mode were you shooting? Was it on a tripod or monopod? I looked at the EXIF.
Thanks,
Mark

Hand held and I am not very steady so surprised, AV setting. Have fun with your new camera.

So the eagle was not chasing the rabbit. OK

That's a great shot of the Eagle. Love the rabbit too. I've noticed hoggers are buying the SX60 now that the SX50 is difficult to get sometimes. I will never be convinced the SX50 is better than the SX60. And since the SX50 is out of production, I've seen prices over $500 for it. Never would I pay $500 for a SX50. Not even brand new.

Just bought a SX60 on eBay with 10 months of Canon warranty still in effect. Just like brand new. Woman used it once and decided she did not want it, but the 15 day return period at Best Buy had lapsed. Got it for $350. Have not yet used it much. Hard to give up the 7d MII or 5d M III for the convenience.
