I am sure I set a switch incorrectly. How can I review the shot I just made on the led screen while using the EVF to compose the shot? Thanks in advance.

Go to the monitor settings screen and select image review. Select ON. The problem is that it is there for only 1 second. In order to review the photo you have to select the PLAYBACK button.

I hope that you would recommend this little camera, as I will receive it from ups tomorrow. I've read that it has some rather "flukey" aspects to its' behaviour, but overall, so far, do you feel it was a good PURCHASE?? RJM

Its a fantastic camera. I have been a Canon shooter for decades. In attempt to lighten the load, so to speak, I was looking for a point and shoot and came upon this. It serves all my purposes, I was used to taking the shot and looking at the result in the LED screen, seems that I can't do this. So, I will simply play it back. One word of caution, maybe its because I'm 71, but I have trouble hand holding the camera at 2000 MM. So, I have a monopod and tripod if I need them. In my humble opinion, the camera is well worth the money and you won't be disappointed. Good luck.

It is not your age. If you were 20 you could not had hold it at 2000. I will be 80 in October and just love the P900. I also have a Canon 70D.

I have had mine for over a year and love it. Took it to the Galápagos Is and Machu Picchu several months ago and it performed wonderfully. I have a D7000 that i really like, but the P900 is becoming my go to camera.
