I wrote to Admin asking to have the Ignore feature done away with because it allows any forum member to permanently prevent another member from making any reply to one of their posts. It shuts you out of debate automatically and in effect imposes a one man initiated censure. For example I am allowed to post a reply to any racman post because he has put me on his ignore list. He doesn't just ignore me, he censures me. Very Christian of him. Anyone can do this to anyone on these forums. Below is Admins reply to my appeal to Admin
Admin: This is private property. Freedom of speech doesn't apply here.
Croce: OK, but always thought you meant it to be a free expression forum in the absence of personal abuse. Thanks for informing me.
Admin: It is. But as a matter of privilege extended to the users, not a right.
Which means it goes with all the features of the forum, such as ignore lists.
Just thought you all would like to know and conduct yourselves accordingly.

I see what you mean. If xxxxx slandered me and said things like I was a pediphile or worse, I would have no way to reply or defend myself. I would just have to sit there and read all the vile comments that someone wishes to put out there about me. At first, I liked the idea of an ignore feature, but I was put on someone's ignore list and I have no idea what for. I have never been in a sit down drag down match with anyone here. So someone doesn't want to read what I have to say for probably one post that they didn't like.
