Sure you were not shooting her and just used the two guys and a gee-tar for an excuse?

That young lady looks to have a Nikon D3300, looks like the same one I own, she might be transferring images to her smart phone, for social media, using the Nikon WU-1a adaptor

First of all, I loved the photos that accompanied the story. The conversation you relayed, I suspect you left her feeling more encouraged about her photography since was given positive words about her equipment, even if you were holding a Sony in your hands. :) I am right handed as well, but use left hand for focusing too. Not ambidextrous but apparently my left hand can turn a ring a little. :)
Thank you! Yes, I noticed straight away that she was encouraged after praising her camera. I already had struck up conversation with her, when I noticed that I could not see the model name on her camera. I was curious. She had it covered up with her thumb. That is when I asked her what model she had.

Nope. Even though she was cute and all that, I took a ton of pictures of these guys and I also get a kick out of taking pictures of people. Here is another example that I took on that same day. I enjoy taking pictures of beautiful people. I am not talking of just beauty queen or king types either. To me beauty comes in all shapes, sizes and colours. This is one the things I like about photography. It sure beats the hell out of taking pictures of people all burnt to a crisp, which I also do and I do not consider part of the hobby, it is just part of my job.

You should have taught her how to hold the camera. Left hand UNDER the lens for support - never over.

Yeah yeah, how is it that you only have one shot of the two entertainers, and loads of pretty girl pictures?

I enjoyed this series very much. Who knows what the effect of your comments to her will be, but I like to think she'll get more and more into photography.

Darn it! I failed her, didn't I? Lol. I was actually pretty surprised as to how small it was compared to my Albatross (Sony A77 M 2). It fit her little hands perfectly.

In my opinion, Sony makes excellent cameras, and the best sensors.
Yeas they do. I was pleasantly surprised. In my opinion, all brands include several models that are quite excellent.

Yeah, me too! Lol. I actually have quite a few of these two and many others of a couple of other street musicians. I will be posting soon.
