I thought they only came in green
Was it moving? To me it looks like it could be an old shed skin (exoskeleton), which they do as they grow
Nope....he was moving.....I though it was dead at first myself. Then he turned and looked me.
I just attached another shot.
I just googled albino praying mantis and they exist. However, apparently most Mantises are nearly white shortly after moulting, then gradually darken. So, we have two possible scenarios. If possible keep an eye on this guy/gal and see what happens.
Great shots, by the way.

Love the shots Psergel. We like those guys. They eat mosquitos for breakfast.
Good grief what detail. Looks like it was giving you the evil eye.

Marvelous captures what ever colour it's supposed to be.
Several online articles say they change color for camouflage. I've seen both here, green in the gardens and brown on the sides of buildings.
Fun shots!

Great set Paul!! I have seen them this color, but they seem to get green again.
Great shots Paul. Wonderful detail. Yes, they can change color. I had a brown walking stick climb up on a pure white screen habitat where I am rearing Imperial Silk Moths and it did it's best to change to white. I wish I had taken a picture now. You could hardly see it. Cool.
