I am wondering if DSLRs will end up like VCRs of the past. Everyone had one then, but few have them now. But I'm not worried about a camera phone takeover yet. Some on this forum just pre-ordered the new Canon 5D Mark 4 for $3500. Which means DSLRs ain't dead yet. Yes, phone cameras do take some excellent photos. I'll admit that. But?

Better than Zeiss optics? Give me a break.
I am sure many cell phone users will buy such lenses but in my humble opinion they cannot substitute lenses made for dSLR nor users will have the control we have with our cameras.
