These types of shots, the soft flowers, are just as difficult for me to get right as a sharp photo, and I love doing them both. That's what makes photography so much fun! These are the best of the bunch.

I'm very drawn to the composition of the last one - filling the frame with close up. So soft and appealing.

Now these are all fine examples of why you don't need an instructor, Sandy, and I would never have known that soft focus was difficult for you. It looks like you have the technique perfected. The soft pinks are absolutely beautiful!!!

Lensbaby I liked number 4 it had some sharpness on the one flower and it stood out against the softness of the rest. Good one.

These are so beautiful! I especially like the second one's composition. Very interesting!
eta: Oops! My internet service is acting up this evening, and only two pictures were downloaded when I first viewed them. Now, I've seen them all, and that second one is really the fourth.
