I purchased the David Busch book when it first came out. It was very disappointing. A large portion of the book was devoted to those who want to turn their $1150 a6300 into an expensive point and shoot camera. Mostly stuff about jpeg, scene adjustments, automatic exposures, etc., and basic photography. In fact, if anyone want a copy, I will send you mine, in excellent condition for $20 to cover the shipping and packing.
Yesterday, I found the Gary Friedman book on the a6300 and bought it in Kindle version for $15. I already had the a6000 book and found it to be okay except for the lack of a table of contents or an index. You can still do a word search but that is tedious. The new book still does not have an index, but it does have an extensive TOC which makes things much easier. Friedman does a much better job of in-depth explanation with suggestions and recommendations. The Kindle version is on my Samsung 5x8 tablet so I can carry it in my camera bag. This is a 600+ page book and took several minutes to download, but seems worth it.
