I am always learning my 1st ever newborn shoot v my most recent newborn. I know my newborn photography is still not 100% fabulous but it was nice to see where I started and where I am now.

You're definitely improving! I'm no great expert, but if I can say without hurting your feelings, I really don't like the selective coloration in the first shot. While the balloons are pretty, you're drawing all the attention away from the newborn, who is after all, the subject.
I think you hit it much better in the more recent shot. Nothing to distract from the baby, your skin tones look good, and it's nice and sharp. The pose is just a tad awkward, but sometimes you get what you get, and glad to get it! It's not an easy genre. Keep up the good work!
