My first attempt at shooting the meteors last night at 1:00 AM from my 2nd floor balcony in Las Vegas. Way to much light to get decent shots, but I tried. Hoping to do better tonight. I still need to work on my settings. Shot was 3.2 seconds at F/2.8 ISO 200. Manual focus at 11MM. I was using Tokina 11-16 Ultra wide lens on Canon T5i Camera set to infinity, using tripod and wireless remote. I tried higher ISO but anything over 400 did not work. I plan to try again tonight at 20 seconds at F/2.8 and see what happens with ISO settings. Any suggestions for settings would be greatly appreciated.

Interesting! A UFO, an airplane, and maybe a small meteor just behind it, plus the constellation Cassopia!
Thanks for looking. It was an interesting shot. I tried again last night but did not see anything.

Thanks for looking Sailorsmom. Where I live here in Vegas there are so many lights everywhere that unless you drive way out to the desert its hard to find any dark skies. It was interesting to see the blue light after I downloaded the shot.
