Funny though...I always thought fuzzy wuzzy was a bear. Fuzzy wuzzy had no hair. Fuzzy wuzzy was a fuzzy wuzzy.

Sue, Nice bee shot. I have discovered that when the bees are collecting nectar and pollen from the blossoms, they don't have time to pay attention to the photographer.
Now, if you try to do this at the hive, it is another story.

I think the old rime goes. Fuzzy Wuzzy was a bear, Fuzzy Wazzy had no hair, Fuzzy Wazzy wasn't very Fuzzy was he??

Thanks for looking Corky. I looked back on my pictures through 2010 and I had much better bee shots back then.

It's a good start. Practice makes perfect as they say. It looks like a Common Eastern Bumblebee. Placid creatures unless you handle them roughly. I've picked them up on a cold day and all I got was a little buzz from them.
