My backspace key has quit working on this site. Can't close a topic to move on to another. Has this happened to anyone else? Backspace works while typing this. Have to use the Alt Key and Left arrow key to close a topic. At least I figured out the alternate method. djt

Had never heard of that use of the backspace key. I've always clicked on the back arrow (upper left corner) in Chrome to back up 1 page.

I can do that also. Faster using the backspace key.....or it was.

Backspace still works for me on this site. I know some web sites don't honor all conventions though.

Works for me and.... I have the center wheel "click" on my mouse set up to back page and that still works here.

I just tried it in Edge, IE, and FF - and backspace worked in all 3. Then I tried Chrome and backspace did not work in this browser but Chrome popped up a message to use the Alt arrow key. Maybe this is a browser issue and not a UHH issue. Also to go forward the Shift backspace only worked in IE and FF.

You might have hit the answer. I've been using Chrome all along, but I never got a popup message. Thanks for your input. djt

Earlier I had responded that I had tried and didn't work - that WAS Chrome, but I just tried with Edge and it worked...interesting.

I think I may have started a witch hunt. Now I'm going to try a few different ones.

I just tried FF and the back space key WORKS. There are other features that seem to work better/faster than Chrome. Might just switch everything. Any thoughts on that??
