As you can see I'm doing this on my dinning room table (That's what my wife calls it. I call it my studio). Here I'm using 3-5W LED gooseneck lamps in combination with an adjustable overhead LED cube. The combination of the two gives me more light than I normally need. Nikon d7200 with Sigma 180 f/3.5 Macro. Please comment good and corrections if you have them that's how I learn! The flower photo is not stacked.
Looks good. Simple but, effective and can make plenty of adjustments. The one thing I might suggest that you give a try would be some diffusion, unless, of course, you prefer non diffused lighting. Good diffusion seems to be one of the keys regardless of what type of lighting you use. And so far, many of us have found that plain ole paper towels are one of the best materials to use.
BTW, I have the same Gimbal head
I do use diffusers based on what I'm shooting. Thanks.
I thought all studios were kitchen tables when not in use.
Thanks for showing LED gooseneck lamps in action. I think they could be the answer to my lighting issue. Much appreciated.
We all have to be creative when setting up a shot. Nice thinking outside the box

That is a creative solution, Wayne. Hooray for goose neck lamps!
Looks good to me. That is one helluva tripod head.
😊
