I was cleaning up a hard drive and found a folder marked Sony. I had given the camera to my nephew and saved the last pictures on the SD card. So with no rhyme or reason.

Nice job on the shots and the dresser! You might have made a mistake giving away the camera, lol! Let's at least hope he puts it to as good a use as you did!

These were worth finding. The bird shots are excellent and the others are interesting as well.

Thanks for all the kind words.

My nephew (actually grandnephew) is a high school student who is also studying photography/videography through Boces. Once or twice a week he is bussed from school to the Boces facility. In addition to the Sony I gave him and his brothers a couple of DSLRs as his younger brothers are, for now, wanting to follow in his footsteps. The Sony was actually pretty good with video and he has one a couple of awards.

So the camera(s) are being put to good use, and gave me an excuse to replace some gear. I intend to replace the Sony with either the Sony RX10-iii or the Nikon DL 24-500. I miss having a smallish camera around the shop and on the car seat next to me.

Thanks everyone for stopping in. I enjoy hearing from you.

Arthur - during the winter months the Cooper's Hawk sits on my favorite branch so often that the song birds don't fly away. They jump into a very dense barberry bush and laugh at him until he leaves.
