I did get a chance to shoot an immature Bald Eagle, probably a 2nd year bird. It had landed on an old stump in one of the fresh water impoundments probably to cool off a bit and have a drink. when it took off, it started straight towards me and then turned when it got close and gave me some nearly frame filling shots. Nice work Ed, worth the fly bites. In the first shot, anyone seeing that "grip" coming at them should be afraid....even the rock! Good post, glad you had such fine results.
