Im not sure if pompous ass is quite polite but it made me smile. Mogul, these folks talk about learning and growing. They have visions about their work, do not convert to BW but actually see in BW. Go on my man laugh cos I do continually. But sadly they only like to hear sugar coated comments about their posts.
They migrate from The Gallery where everything is treated as a masterpiece. They do not want to improve or learn at all just to receive a pat on the head like a pet dog. Robs straight forward and considered opinion is not welcome for the simple reason he is honest.

Winterrose has put down and slammed people for years. Feuds seem to be a way of life. This is actually a mild one and does contain some honest critique. The point is starting a thread just to go after someone who got tired of you and put you on ignore. I suspect the critique is the way it is for appearances, makes him look more reasonable.

1. Billy, every time you ridicule the use of the terms "seeing in black & white" and "thinking in black & white," you show a lack of knowledge of what black & white photography is all about. These ideas have been successfully used (and taught) by folks far more talented than you or I - for decades. It is most interesting that you choose to ignore that fact.

2. Rob, you apparently over-estimated the number of people who would actually care about our little issue - lol.

You also apparently under-estimated the intelligence and awareness of most who did respond (and those who might be following for the entertainment value): i.e. your antics are well known on this site, as is your lack of contribution to meaningful discussion and learning.

You don't seem to be able to have a reasonable and intelligent exchange of ideas about photography at any level. But hey...whatever gets you through the day, I suppose. Carry on!
