A really photogenic Black-headed Cat Snake (Boiga nigriceps). The head looks more green than black to me. Peninsula Malaysia.

Wow Kurt!!! Outstanding shots!!!!
Would be interested to know which ones are poisonous and any other information on them. Those shots are good enough to be published in a book, especially if you had the back ground on each snake. Also, be curious what equipment you are using, especially the lens.

only the green pit viper is venomous. All images were taken with the Laowa 15mm.
An amazing lens for sure. Explains the huge depth of field you get. Hope you have glass between you and the snakes.

I have been meaning to DIY a shield but have been putting it off.
Outstanding! I always look forward to your threads.
These are all Amazing shots.
All really really good, but #4 is el'Perfecto. Composition of upper and lower triangle of light/dark, frog picks up the colors of both light/dark....
Thanks for looking and commenting, napabob, David, Douglass, waltchilds, dpullum, raymondh. Much appreciated!
Love what you can do with that lens, Kurt.

Thanks, Wally. I like this lens too but really wish that it has auto aperture. Don't quite mind the lack of auto focus.
