Still looks like a full Moon tonight, but if you look at the right side you can see it is slowing getting darker there. The new Moon will be 8/2/16 in 13 days. Tonight it is 239064 miles away from Earth.:):) And good night my friends! This kid is going to hit the hay!!!:):) OH, the first one is black and white the second one is color.:):)

I really enjoy moon images, and this is a great one, in color & black & white I know how hard it is to capture the crater details in a full moon shot.

Hi Phil. Thank you. I started in the film days with the Moon.:) Most of them were in Black and white so I could do the developing in the basement. They were pretty good, but going digital sure is nice now.:):) I have a D750 and a 80-400 with a TC1.7 hooked to it. It does a great job if I get the settings right.:):)
