Saw this one in 'newest pictures' and said to myself: CarlySue, lol. Sure enough. Another wonderful image, with a turn-of-the-century feeling of grandmother's pearls and her dresser top. Well done, Carla!

When I saw the word "still life", I knew it had to be you. I have never seen you produce anything but a gorgeous still life, and this is no exception. I love it!

Very nice Carla. I like the "old world" feel and the overall muted pinkness of it. Nice soft complimentary lighting too for that sort of theme.; I assume it is window light?

While I'm not posting comments as often as I'd like right now (way to much to accomplish in a day) I had to let you know I'm really enjoying your still life scenes. You have a real talent with this style of art form and I look forward to seeing much more. The choice of objects, lighting, balance - it's all there. Very well done!

Only you could make that paper look this good, Carla. Absolutely beautiful still life that would be very much at home in the fancy boudoir of a stately antebellum home. Brilliant work!!!
