Haven't used the SX50 much recently but decided to take some shots while visiting Sunapee Harbor, NH. This $199 reburbished camera always amazes me what nice photos it takes.

The $199 price has lead to many divorces from wives asking why the $5000 was spent for that Nikon DSLR. Yes, I have 2 SX50 and my DSLR gathers dust all 199# of it!! Cast iron 1985 Minolta Maxxium Lenses!

Yes, the SX-50 is a marvelous camera! I thank you Hoggers every time I use it for mentioning it and putting me on to the Canon Refurbished Products Store! Thanks to all! I was a lucky guy to have found it there at $149 the day I went. Not often seen at that price.

I just checked Canon USA website. The refurbished SX50 is selling now for $250 and they are currently out of stock.

WOW $149 is a bargain but I'm not complaining paying $199.

The SX50 is no longer in production. But maybe there is a brand new one somewhere for sale. Not for $250, that's for sure.

I really like photo #2. The dogs in the background look like they are saying "Hey, you have been out there long enough. Now it's our turn".

Thanks Tom! When I composed the shot I never saw the 2 dogs in the background. I was concentrating on the dog on the boat, the 2 small dogs were a bonus, guess that's what we call a lucky shot.
P.S. Just checked your Smug Mug site out, some very nice photos there!
