Nice photo. I'm not much for liking HDR but I like it on this one.

Yeah, I would say that your HDR is a little overcooked on the blue side. But you know what. Gotta' love them trains! Excellent perspective.

Johnny, Nice shot!! That has to be a smooth run on that welded rail!! I spent close to 10 years with the Northern Pacific RR back in the 60s working out of the System Engineer's Office in St Paul, MN running the west end Detector Car from Livingston, MT to Seattle, WA and loved every minute of it. Railroading was in my blood as my dad spent 54 years with the Rock Island RR back in Iowa. The composition of your shot is outstanding! Nice Work !!!

I agree about the blue caste but I like the shot overall with the exception of the power lines on the right. I am a fan of artistic license and with exception of the color caste I think you did a great job.

jadeast, I agree with you, especially the part about the power lines as I really like good train photos. I believe this is a good train photo made even better!!

I didn't see where HOT Texas requested his photo to be edited, I guess you did anyway.

If you'd please check again you'd see that I in fact did not edit this image. What you might also do is read what has transpired before making such an accusation!

I like the perspective with the power lines paralleling the tracks. Normally not big on HDR but it works for this image, it has great texture..

I think I like it with the power lines in it, I think they add a prospective to it and it also means something to me, you see those power lines has those 100 year old glass insulators on them, The only ones left in my area.

Can you post the non-HDR version? I would be interested in seeing that.
