Thank you so much Bret, Roximarty, Bob, Treepusher, War1ock, Franku, TRC and DSP.
As was done here, I typically shoot against a plain background, quickly cut out the subject with Topaz ReMask, and add a more suitable background. By the response it seemed to have worked well here.
......AND YOU REMAINED TRUE TO THE Portrait Photographer's Code: Make your subject look their VERY best. I love the idea of stuffing the snoot with Kleenex. Factoid: Ansel Adams suggested using draping some sheets of Kleenex to soften the on small format camera on hot shoe or pop up flashes in one of his books.
Nice work.
Absolutely gorgeous woman. Her complexion is really beautiful and you captured her just right!! Bravo! I wouldn't have guessed that you shot on a different background.
I love the soft light you have from this large shoot thru. You could not have asked this lady to wear a better outfit. I like how you diffused your snoot. You Really have made a beautiful portrait here...... This makes me want to use my 82in parabolic more. Thanks for the motivation....

Did a fun shoot at the annual, local seniors' community photo show. We offered free portraits to visitors of the show and had a great response.
To keep the set up simple I set up a 5' x 7' pop-up background and used one main light, a hair light with a snoot and one reflector. The main light was a 72 inch shoot through umbrella that was pretty well left in one spot.
Here's one of the results. CC welcome.
That's a lovely portrait of a lovely looking woman.
