I'm pretty sure I'm the only one left on the planet who has a camera and had not yet tried "Smoke Images" and I wanted to try some things that I have not done yet...push the envelop...color outside the lines...Mostly challenge myself to try. So got this prior to setting off the smoke alarm. I had fun, hope you enjoy

I really like what you've done with this image. It's simple and well composed, but the light makes it special. By the way, you're not the last person to try this. Now excuse me while I run off to find some matches!

No, CarlySue. You would be incorrect. I have more than one camera, have been taking pictures for sixty years, and have never photographed smoke - probably never will.

But, I do like your shot, thanks for sharing.

Creative and intriguing, Carlysue. I feel like I'm at Rick's place in Casablanca. "Of all the gin joints in all the towns in all the world........"

Carlysue, without reading I looked at the photo and thought "fire." Of course, my eye was drawn to the brightly-colored "flame" first. Glad to hear that it is only smoke! Intriguing. TG

Thank you,Linda! Actually had to turn on fans and open doors to get the smoke out of the room! Alarm beeped a few times but no siren!

I was hoping you found this today,Vicki. It was fun and I cannot believe you haven't tried it. I found that incense sticks work well as the smoke will change shape with a little movement or fanning. I'm so glad you enjoyed!

Well,I have been wrong a few other times,Madman, but spoke too soon this time! I appreciate you looking in and commenting and I'm pleased you liked my shot. I have noticed that you prefer nature, both plant and animal, and have some very memorable and enjoyable images in your repertoire.
