Gioachino Rossini would have approved. I read on the web where he was a fan of "The Lone Ranger Show."

Pretty good.

Trivia: A large number of historians today believe that the real person the Lone Ranger was based on was a black US Deputy Marshall who worked for "Hanging Judge Parker" mostly in the "Indian Territory", now Oklahoma.

Thanks for the link.

A wonderful take on an "old warhorse"! The other day I heard a really fine performance of a Bach chorale on .... a harmonica! The player had been a church organist so he knew what he was doing.

Glen Campbell was a terrific guitarist. It is very sad to know that I read recently he does not recognize the guitar anymore. Thanks for posting the link.

David Letterman was great with his guests. Clayton Moore was threatened with lawsuits by TV executives for wearing his mask after retirement. They claimed he was making money at appearances without permission to wear the mask. I think he won that case.

I think he is 80 years old now. Sorry to hear that he's not in good health, according to a post above, I don't really know.

"Legend and Lies" with Bill O'Reilly has a good program about Bill Bass, the black US Marshall who many think is the person the Lone Ranger idea is based on.
