Getting a kick out of peering deep into flowers ...
You have nicely demonstrated the narrow DoF associated with macro-photography. A 50-mm lens demands a close working distance. Do you use extension tubes or add-on diopter lenses?
Exif info:
Camera Model: NIKON D750

Image Date: 2016-07-08

ISO equiv: 100
Exposure Bias: none
Metering Mode: Spot

Flash Fired: Yes
For these I was using various combinations of tubes ... I think that most were with either 36mm or all 68mm of Kenko tubes in place. I was also using a YN568ex in an Fstoppers Flashdisk in order to get the light in close and soft. I tried using my assembly free 24"x24" softbox ... but could not get the angle of light that I wanted. I also used a white reflector opposite the flash on a couple of them.
A very attractive image. The focus is just in the perfect position for my taste.

Please post a photo of your macro set-up on this thread, and then here:

Here's another from the same set ... different vantage point ... more of the anthers in focus. (also YN568ex 1/4 power - about 6" away in Flashdisk) for this one I'm pretty sure I had 48mm of Kenko tubes in the stack ...
Another beautiful shot. The colours go together beautifully.
