Mike,

You always do such an outstanding job with your captures. I just love the clarity of Denali! How many days did you have to wait to have such clear blue skies. Think that only happens a few days during the year.

Mike,

I should have added, that we spend several days in Talkeetna waiting for clear skies. Never happened. However, did take a plane out of Talkeetna Airport to land at the base camp for climbers, then flew around the "Tall one". Would recommend that to anyone who happens to stop in Talkeetna.

Breathtaking as always. The first shot is awesome, almost drawn, the lines are so straight. Gorgeous!

Stunning landscapes! I knew Thompson Pass was stunning, but you caught it at its finest. The one of Denali makes me drool. Loved the others, too! Thanks for taking the time to share your talent!!!!!!

Well I was lucky that time, came down from Fairbanks and it started to snow heavy so I stayed overnight in Healy, got up in the morning to clear sky and fresh snow. took a lot of pictures on my way to Talkeetna. The next morning no more nice weather, flying as you mentioned must be great, on all my trips I was too late for it at the end of September, even the Talkeetna lodge is closed by then, I stay in a B&B. I asked a native at the gas station once how come I never see the top of Mt. Denali and he replied, the mountain is a lady and she doesn't want to be exposed naked to strangers.

The Denali picture is outstanding. You've got to be lucky to catch the peak when it is not shrouded in clouds.
