I never know what type of bloom I am going to get from what appear to be identical types of cactus. There was a third one that was pure white but some animal had knocked the blossom off before I got to photograph it. Happy 4th to all of you.

These are both drop-dead gorgeous. I'd almost like to apply a layer of Fractalius to your second photo and change it into something with a touch of fantasy thrown in.

Having seen some of your work, I think you should do it and then post it for all to enjoy.

May I post it your topic or would you like me to create another one?

I think it would be more effective if both pictures were in the same post so the viewers could more readily see the differences. I don't care if you use my original or create a new one - whatever works for you.

That is beautiful - a great improvement over the original. I may have to look into that program. Good work Bob.

My thanks to all of you for your comments and my compliments again to Bob for his dreamlike rendition of the yellow b lossom. It was fun working together on this one.
