Hope you like poppies. These were swaying in the strong wind.
Taken just down the road from a small village called Kilconquhar in Scotland where we are staying.
Canon 650d, 18-55 mm lens.

Gorgeous, Sylvia. The first one, especially on download, is a real stunner. The poppies, farm house, & those wild clouds all come together for a super picture, IMO.

Super images Sylvia, here is a fitting pome to go with them.

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.
by John McCrae.
R.I.P. We will remember them.
You can say that again, gorgeous flowers Sylvia , I love poppies, wonderful shots

Lovely photos. The third one is haunting, with the B&W background. Well done!
#1 is stunning! 2/3 of the frame filled with eye-popping color, LOL. And a very cool house!
Very nice, Sylvia. I especially like number one.

how beautiful those poppies are sylvia...beautiful series, and i just love the first shot.
the field of poppies and the beautiful house with the dramatic looking clouds in the sky..awesome!
I love your first shot Sylvia. The contrast and textures of the brooding sky, rustic buildings with the stone wall and the field of beautiful poppies all combine to make an outstanding composition.
Nice work on all these, Sylvia. The first one is my favorite.
