Almost didn't process this either

Another image taken a few weeks ago - IC1318. The only reason I imaged this target was it's timely availability. I did spend two nights imaging it. Astrotortilla found it and my Nikon D800e imaged it on a Newt, F/3.9 8 inch scope. A total of 59 subs taken at 30 seconds, ISO 1250 along with 90 bias, 30 darks, and 120 flats.....a substantial crop was done in post.

Walla. This turned out better than the first night IMHO.

I hope everyone has a great FOURTH OF JULY!

Very well done, I too have many images I do not seem to process, deeming them to be insignificant. Many hidden gems I'll bet. I find myself more interested in playing with or modifying the hardware, than spending time to process what I already have.

Looking over my images of tonight 90% of them are trash due to my neighbor and their firework displays. I must say though for a single individual it is an impressive show so far.

Well done on the PP,
Matthew

Same here about the hardware.

I can't really blame my neighbors. My problems stem from a loose nut on the controls.
