Photography is a visual art. What genius decided to make this site all text? I, for one, am losing interest, but then again, I don't live on my iphone...

There are some things that could be improved but UHH is not test only.
You apparently are confused and don't know how to navigate the site. Try clicking on "newest Pictures" near the top of the page.

Photography functions as a craft that may rise to art in the right hands.
This photog has been scolded by others here for posting pictures when these others say these pictures did not pertain to the point of the post.
This photog sees some sense in this distinction. Yet on a forum devoted primarily to the work of photographers, some latitude may open the forum to more pictures.

If you click on "Home" at the top of any page and scroll down, or click on "All Sections" at the bottom of any page, you will find all of the forum sections available on UHH. 15 or so of those forum sections are photo sharing sections and you find many great photographs.

There are numerous sections in UHH that are predominately images. Look around.

I'm a member of several photography forums and they are all similar in many respects. Don't know what you mean about "all text" on this site. There are thousands of images here.

Click on "Home" at the top or bottom of the page..it will take you to a menu with all the different sections...Photo Gallery, Close-up Photography, etc, etc..

There are many photo websites devoted to displaying images. Flickr, 500Px, and NatGeo's YourShot just to name a few. This site was designed for photographers to interact with eachother, ask questions, and share ideas. And yet, there are still places here to enjoy looking at images. The Photo Gallery would be an obvious starting point.
