Fox-tail Squirrel in Tree

While on a walk one morning at Lake Murray State Park, I spotted this cute little fox-tail squirrel having a bite of breakfast. He paused long enough for me to take his picture.

The fox-tail squirrel has a tail that looks similar to that of a fox. I have attached a picture for you, that shows the tail. :)

I don't think you will find any fox-tail squirrels up north. You have either the reds or the gray squirrels. :)

Ya gotta nice picture there of the little fella, but here where I'm from, we call them fox squirrels and they are given that name because of their coloring.
