Mike, I thought of sending you a private message but since I have nothing to hide I will say what I want to say here so everyone will know my feelings.
I have been watching your posts and I have been impressed with the care and efforts you put behind your work. You delight the viewer with some of the best photographs I have seen in this forum.
I see excellent selection of the subjects, great exposures, outstanding visual design, colorful sceneries and impeccable editing of your files. To me those are the signs of a good photographer.
They are all good shots but the third one is my favorite. The grain I see does not bother me a bit, on the contrary helps to emphasize the mood of the photograph. If I shoot something like that I open the shadows just a bit to taste but that is merely a matter of personal preference.
