Folks, I was in Ottawa Kansas a couple weeks ago and while driving around I found some very interesting and eye catching
buildings. Some of these were shot as we flew by in the car. Yes, I'm being lazy and didn't photoshop out distracting wires, telephone poles or other objects. Still, you will see the beauty of these places built in the late 1800's.

These are very nice James. Your compositions and processing give each a kind of architectural nobility. Enjoyable! thanks.

Very nice images of lovely old buildings. Well done, not too much HDR IMHO.

You outdid yourself with these.

I don't mind the wires and poles, but couldn't you get rid of the pigeon? It's facing the wrong way.

Especially the Courthouse, now on that one...I did get out of the car and found a nice view (between the trees) to shoot it.

Thanks rockdog, it's a new type of processing I'm learning that gives remarkable color and detail.

Thanks infocus, Just enough to give a little more pizazz, but not overdone.

Impressive,James! Dynamic architecture and I like your pp on these. I agree with "rock dog's" descriptive adjective--noble

They remind me of old fashioned post cards. Very interesting treatments.
