Two pairs are presented of the same scene:
one is to be viewed by "parallel gaze".
The other is to be viewed with eyes crossed.
Most people have a strong preference for one technique over the other.
If you respond, please mention which technique you found useful.

I'll bite. How does one look with crossed eyes.

hod the images~ 18" in front and hold the tip of a finger in front of your nose and focus on it...that gets you eyes crossed. Then, when you seem to have THREE images in front of you, concentrate on the middle one which will give you a 3-D image.
Good luck. some people can only use parallel viewing, others only crossed-eyes, and som can use either technique.
I'm curious which you find easiest.
Dave
I have tried both and I am not having any luck so far.

I tried the both versions and the eyes crossed version worked for me. Interesting technique.

Hi, Andrea,
Have a look at the earlier thread that contains some helpful (I hope...) suggestions on viewing stereo pairs.
http://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-395113-1.htmlIt does require some practice, but once achieved, it becomes sequentially easier each time.
Good luck,
Dave

Thank you for giving the link to the original post. The instructions helped a lot. I brought this topic up on my cell phone and was able to see the 3-D image with the parallel gaze version.
