Topaz Impressions 2

Topaz Impressions 2 has been released. If you have the original Impressions the upgrade is free. I downloaded and installed the upgrade, however, the presets will not load in this version. I have reinstalled twice with no luck. My Open GL is sufficient to run the program, but no presets. Anybody else experience this?

I have installed Impressions 2 and I have the presets. If you go to the View pull down menu and select preset the preset bar on the right should appear, just like version 1.

I bought it months ago, played with it and didn't get much accomplished!
What does version 2 do that 1 did not?

The View Pull Down is there but when I select Presets they will not show. I am running Windows 7. The original Impressions works just fine.

Thanks Bob. I am running Windows 7 Home Premium and Photoshop CS6. Topaz Impressions 2 show in the filter menu and I can open it, but there are no presets. I have the original Impressions which works just fine.

If install is hanging at the OpenGL message, you might just have to run the cumulative Windows updates to get that portion of the OS to the point that Topaz likes.

SOLVED, but somewhat confusing! When I downloaded my upgrade I did so from the Software > Downloads links on the Topaz site. That downloaded a 178MB file named topazimpressions2_setup.exe. I installed and it would not even show any of the presets. Last night I discovered another link to the download in their promo page for Impressions 2. That download is named topazimpressions201_setup exe. I installed it and it works perfectly. In addition in their support pages is a link to load a .bat file if the presets do not work. I tried that first but the link for PC loads the Mac .app file instead of the .bat file. What is even more puzzling is that my son in North Carolina and I have identical systems and he downloaded the topazimpressions2_setup.exe file and it works perfectly on his PC. However, his version say Impressions V2.00 and mine says Impression V2.01.

No I had no problems with the upgrade.It is great,love it! I have Windows 10,I don't know if that has anything to do with it!
