A week or so ago I posted a problem I was having in getting a camera back that I had traded in. I was not getting calls or e-mails returned. I remembered that there was a man named Hershel who trouble shooted for B&H and I asked for help in finding him. A fellow Hog was quick to write me with instructions and very shortly I was in contact with Hershel. He went right to Henry Posner, Director of Communications for B&H who was in touch with me and took the problem to to the Customer Service managers. That was the end of last week and today I received the camera.
There's a complicated procedure involved by B&H which leads me to think that they have a lot of these "sellers remorse" situations. One of the Hogs commented on my original post that it was more a "Jimkh problem than a B&H problem" which I thought at the time was unnecessary but now I think he was right. I wasn't happy with the evaluation so why did I accept it? I should have sat down (there's a couch in the B&H Trade-In room) and thought as I did later on. Here was a practically brand-new version of a current camera and if I saw this on sale at this price I probably would have grabbed it. So my hard-won advice is think hard, consider all alternatives and then make a decision.
I must congratulate and thank agsain Hershel and Henry Posner for abay-sitting me through this process. Just one more reason Why B&H is the best.

B&H is a class act, no doubt about it.

I don't care what anybody says. B & H is the BEST. I have bought from them from day one of my photography journey, I think 6 years ago. Have only had a few problems but they were ALWAYS on top of it and took care of very quickly. Also every time I was on the phone or computer live chat their people were excellent, with knowledge and being friendly. You can't go wrong with B & H.

Thank you for decades (yes decades) of excellent customer service. My only regret is that I live too far to visit very often.

As has been said many times, including a few by me, it just doesn't get any better than B&H! In my mind they are a model of how a customer should be treated!
Hershel:
I will do that and thanks again.

I'm glad your happy. I seriously doubt that B&H has a problem with "sellers remorse" or for that matter maybe it would better be described as buyers remorse. Most people do their homework and dream of what they want/need before shelling out our hard earned cash. IMHO I think that B&H is the top of the line and as we all can see they bend over backwards to try and appease those that make snap decisions.
7 years of good service for me from B&H. Everything is sent on time, and I love the free shipping on $49+ orders.

Thanks for posting this. I have yet to order from B&H, but will with my next purchase. I have never seen a negative post about them. That alone is saying a lot in this forum!
