There are also electric dragsters which do 185 mph in the quarter mile. I wasn't able to find what their 0-60 time is as they aren't timing them for that, but they may be faster.

The video wasn't that bad. The student speaker at the beginning seemed a bit arrogant.
And I thought the Tesla Ludicrous was fast at 2.5 seconds.

Electric cars have huge torque from a dead stop--especially if they are engineered for speed. Even a stock Tesla will pin you back in your seat if you stomp on it.
