I always look for rule of thirds or crop to rule of thirds as a first choice and may have ended up with the same. Fast and furious wedding portraits are tough. I find that I am most concerned with the technical side of my brain getting the right exposure and then right expression. Then composition, background, hand placement, and all that takes a back seat. I am hoping I improve with practice and repetition.

Totally agree, wish I was 30 years younger .............

I would have centered them on the steps BUT the rule of thirds works here. If you cropped them to the center, the background would throw things off. The second pic, if you could have had her hold the flowers differently you could also show the wedding ring on her hand. Its still a great pic though ....

Thanks for the advice .............. I think this about 10 weddings under my belt, learning all the time
