Google censors words because too much dwelling could lead to negative impressions of the word. Google prefers that you not see nor read the negatives associated with a controversial word.

This is precisely why I told my research students not to rely on Google for information, but, rather, to do some real searching of their own.

Did everyone pick up on the fact that this was posted under the 'Opinion' column? I'm not trying to say the article has no merit. It probably does but causes me to pause and question.
I use Google extensively for searches because it seems to 'understand' what I mean more than the others. Bing is the worst as far as I'm concerned. It seems to be either another attempt by the Microsoft establishment to change my patterns of thinking or the algorithm was designed by people who live on another planet.
