Hi all, I have had the above lens since approx. 1978, Nikon fit, there is no coupling prong and definitely no electrickery. It is a flaremonster, but I like it. Out of interest, have others had experience with this lens? I believe it was also sold as a Soligor. Thanks in anticipation. shag.

I know it was made Japan had no lens coating not much of a lense by today's standards but most certainly nostalgic?

Thanks for taking the effort to reply Richard, indeed Japanese. Mine appears to be coated, though obviously coatings have improved. Noritar were better known for large format lenses, though they also listed an 85mm f1.8. I believe they took over 'Graflex?
My lens is quite contrasty and renders ble sky extremely well. It's certainly nostalgic for me having owned and used it for nearly 40 years! I an very suprised at its resolution, superb but, as expected, very soft in the corners.
