Here are a few pictures I took of the ducklings in the pond behind my house. The first time I saw a dozen or more ducklings. Then 5 and now it is 4.

I'll rule out bass, no fish living in the pond.
I haven't noticed a great blue heron at the pond yet this year, but have in the past, so cannot rule that one out.

I'll rule out gators. They don't live in Minnesota.
Every so often in past years other neighbors see a fox.
Today there were only two ducklings swimming about.
