I was walking past this fellow with my camera in hand. He looked up, saw me, and said "hey man, take my picture"! I did, but must have had too much wine with dinner as I have no idea how I got this so crooked! However I thought his pose and expression were great and worthy of a post. He liked the photo and explained he wanted to show off his new jeans, just acquired! They looked to me like they had been washed 10,000 times and survived a motorcycle crash, but, hey, I'm a square old man! Two versions, which do you like better?

I do like the color version, but the BW is just special.
BTW, the angle is perfect. Not everything needs to be level with the horizon, sometimes it needs to balance with nature. That is very good balance! (Run a vertical line down just to the right side of his head, and then compare all the angles of arms and legs and so on.)

Thanks Apaflo, I appreciate the positive feedback. I was really surprised how well the B&W turned out, the tonal range is pleasing and definitely my favorite of the two. At first I thought the angle was awkward but after you pointed out the balance, I realize it really does not detract from the photo and adds to the overall effect.

Black and white for me. In the color version, I just want to look at the red shoes--they detract from the rest of the photo.
