I've seen a number of these in the Amish community just south of where I live.
Comments always welcome.
I spent time in such a school during WW2, when I was sent to relatives who lived in the country.
A fine capture, my friend.

Better than some of the factories we've turned our schools into

Very nice, I started school in a one teacher/room pot bellied heated school with no running water. Speaking of running water, what was done to the running water in your shot??? Looks like too much clone work, other then that I really like the image and it looks like there's smoke coming out of the chimney. Clean up the water and you have a very nice wall hanger.
I grew up in the country and went to one of these. Loved it. You learned more when you could hear the "upper" kids doing their classes.
Now about the photo: Something is wonky with the water. Other than that, it's nice. Don't know if that's fixable or not. It wouldn't be by me, that's for sure.
Beautiful composition, Rick! We have them here in PA too in Lancaster which is Amish country.
